That's where I first visited them just off of 2ns street and Sepulveda. They later moved into the shopping center on the corner of Aviation and Prospect in Hermosa and finally to 5th st and PCH also in Hermosa.
I bought a ton of stuff from them in their two later locations, but not when they were in Manhattan.
Prices were definitely negotiable, which is how I got that carppy Parker .45 for $145. I think they got the better end of the deal, though...Comment

It may be worth it if it was a girls bed, and you got to use it

Oh, that's right; I remember that they moved to Aviation and Prospect. That was the last location I visited of theirs. I'd go to the Cerritos Armory at lunch time because I didn't work too far from there. Their prices were really spiking by the time they opened the Cerritos store and by that time I had discovered B&E who was much better than them in prices.

That picture was taken when they were new..WTF? There is zero wear anywhere on the 229, either of the Emersons, or the surefire. The only thing worse than not having such nice gear is having it and never using it for anything but photo ops!
What model Emerson is that by the way? I've been carrying a Mini-Comm BTS for years, but I think I like the blade design on that a bit better. Great knives. (And that is an awesome pic, I'm just teasin you about the lack of wear).
On topic: My first handgun was a Springfield Mil-Spec. I've done a little work to it myself since I got it, last thing I'm planning on is sending it out to Heinie or Novak for new sights. It's my baby, prefer it to my other guns hands down, and often carry it even though I have a Lightweight Champion that's slightly more comfortable. I don't have any good pics, I'll see if I can snap one later and post it up.
They are both CQC-15's one of the best Tanto re curve design from Emerson IMO...
