Your math only works if you carry it a year then throw it away. Neither of those assumptions make sense.

If you carry it three years then sell it for $1200, it would be $0.37/day.

Yeah, I've not fired one yet, but I'm interested (moving out of CA). If you have XL hands I think you'll end up with a P365 XL. I have a hard time with very small handguns.

As for the secondary market, its ridiculous, but I support the fact that if someone wants a P365 bad enough, and saves up the money, that they could still buy one. That wouldn't be possible if sellers were forced to sell at low fixed prices.
sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

I shot one at the range when I was up in Seattle a couple years back. It's snappy for a 9mm, I personally wouldn't & have not paid the CA Off Roster premium for it. Max I'd personally pay is prob $800-$1000 which is already over MSRP, but not much more than that.

My EDC rotation of CZ P10c, PPQ, and P320 Compact works for me.

I agree, but not for double that.

No you are correct. It was a very simplified example. Though I do wonder how often people change carry guns.

Those are all great guns but def not as deep concealment as a p365.

              That said I carry a G19 or G48 99% of the time. Occasionally a G43.

My wife carries a P365XL as it conceals well and no gun dick with a phlster enigma.

yes for sure, if/when I need deep concealment, or when I need to dress up, I just carry my Walther PPS in a Crossbreed Supertuck, otherwise it's one of the above 3 in the rotation. It was the PPQ for the longest time for 95% of the carry time, but since I got the P10c & PPQ both milled & mounted for a Leupold Deltapoint Pro, P10c has been the goto.

Nice. Have not moved to red dot for a carry pistol but many friends have.

I did the CCW Night with TJ at Allsafe 2 weeks ago, first time (not first time running class) I ran the class with the red dot, I prob did not see the red dot 80%+ of the time I was shooting... takes some getting use to.

No f'ing way for a striker-fire plastic wonder gun.
                      Sig or not . . . that's a forget-it.

Yeah red dot presentation def takes getting used to. It is much better on moving targets though unless you are very comfortable with irons.

I can lead moving targets at relatively set speeds but red dots really shine imo as movement patterns are more eratic

Just sold mine. Cool gun, carries nice. Ended up getting a G19 mos. I'm carrying that now. Doesn't carry as easy BUT I'm not carrying for comfort.

For the most part agree. I am not a Sig fan. But I do think they did a great job with the 365. Great shooter and solidly built.

                                Question...

Thanks for the tip about Travis. I have base access, but none of the bases near me carry guns or ammo, but they are Navy bases (Mugu and Port Hueneme.) I wonder if Vandenberg has firearms?

Are that in the Exchange at Travis?

                                Thx!
