Serious! Sig 365

Okay, I realize it's a Sig but really? $1200-1500 for a 365 seems pretty steep. They retail high for 700 and low for 600. This is America and I love this country with all its faults. Congrats too all of you who have sold it for this price and for all of you who have bought it. Let me shoot yours just to see and feel it cause I really want to know how this off roster pistol feels. I try not to judge people cause something is only worth what someone wants to pay just like .75/rd for 9mm. I just want to judge the gun. Shooting at:
Insight, OC Indoor, Prado outdoor, La Puente Indoor, and anywhere else inbetween. I will bring my own ammo just like BYOA or BYOB. Thanks.

OC indoor rents both the P365 and P365xl. They also have the P320 and Glock 43,48.

Last I’ve seen 9mm ball ammo for sale was $1.10 per round + tax and clearance. I should’ve bought all them 200 round pack at Walmart when they had them on sale.

Gotta ask yourself the question if a pistol is really worth that much. How much better will it be compared to a $700 Gen 3 Glock. Yep! $700-800 for a Gen 3 Glock, and that’s if they have it in stock at the local gun shop. At least the gun shop near me have ammo for peeps that bought a gun from them. Really sad when you buy a pistol and have to call all the outfits in a 150 mile range to find ammo, and it’ll cost all the digits on your hand. Be lucky if they leave the middle fingers.

I would think if you have a CCW then it’s worth paying the 1300? Since the p365 is designed for that purpose. But if it a range gun or even home defense not worth paying double

Most of those buyers are one time buyers. They are scared of "whatever" and will buy that $700 Glock and will pay $50 for a box of 50 rounds and they will stay the next 20 years in the nightstand.

Epic carry gun. If you're buying for that purpose and actually carry daily then the P365 is worth whatever it cost to get one. However, not worth it to just burn ammo at the range.

Ya I ponied up 1200 for mine. It was not fired with all the original stuff so basically BNIB. I will say it hurt paying that but accounting for us living in CA and lack of good small options for carry I would gladly pay it again.

I have a shield and a PM9 but the 365 is my goto.

Do a little cost averaging over the life of handguns- the initial price really doesn't matter. Vastly more important is if it fits/works with you well and you become proficient.

The only part that gives me pause is if we have to blast someone, deservedly, whatever handgun we use we won't see again for a year or three. Can I just call a time out and quickly switch to some ghetto bought gun?

I put a mag through a 365 at the range one time. I liked the ergonomics a lot but it was very snappy for 9mm. My shield is not like that in any way but I was losing my grip in the off hand which would make follow-up shots impossible to get on target. Was not impressed.

My LGS told me today he still has about 20 new Glocks in stock $550 each. He has had a few people order them online and delivered to him for transfer that were priced much higher.

I used to have a 365 SAS. I thought it was fine, but since I can only have 3 pistols on my permit I thinned down the collections....should have kept it. Those sights are a bit funky, but it is tiny.

365 is hard to beat for a carry gun. 13 rounds of 9mm in a package that is just a hair larger than my 7 round 380.. kind of no comparison there. I paid like 900 or 950 for mine back before the market place went full retard, which I was fine paying because the gun fits a need for me. That being said, I have a shield I paid ~400 for that I could EDC just fine if I didn't have a 365.. its not like there aren't other good options out there. If I were buying today, I wouldn't pay what people are asking, but CA is a special place.
