Agree, but how does that infringe 2A? Criminal activity, yes.

I guess a broad interpretation could be the scams are preventing someone from keeping and bearing, but I think that is stretching it since there are other ways to obtain goodies.

That's ok because FNG responded to 5 month old thread for no good reason.

Not a good idea. If a cop runs a gun and it comes back stolen, he had better have it in his possession, or he is going to be answering some very difficult questions. Every key stroke on both the mobile and stations computers is recorded and can be recalled.

Guy came from truckee to meet me in Rocklin. Also scored a P320 for less than msrp. That guy came from vacaville to meet me. So not all are scams but a lot are. Just have to know what to look for like join date, location, price, mag capacity even. If they say ship to ffl most likely a scam.
That's the way it's normally done, assuming you're not in a state where you can only buy or sell a gun from someone who agrees to meet you at an in-state ffl.

Once payment is received, I'll guarantee to ship on the next business day. Buyer gets a copy of the tracking info by phone the same day the gun ships. No different on arfcom or the FAL Files or any other board I've been with.

Without a working phone number, I won't deal with a buyer or seller. I need to speak with him for a bit and get a good feel that he means what he says.

Knock big on wood, but I've only been burned once, and that was from a fellow Calgunner who moved to Oregon and ignored ~ $20 in shipping charges he committed to pay.

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!
