I’m in the same boat as you, OP. With plastic compact and full size steel frame 9mm striker fired pistols, plus a Buckmark, really want something new (again). I think the 1911, or off roster 2011, is what most interests me. Still undecided between another 9mm vs. a .45 ACP version.
