What to get next?

My gun collection started out modest (at least compared to some of you). This is what I have, listed in order of purchase

1) S&W 617 (22lr revolver)
2) Browning Buckmark (22lr semi-auto)
3) Glock 17
4) S&W 642 (38 sp revolver)

I'd like to pick up another semi-auto next but I'm not sure what to get. I don't really feel the need to leave the 9 mm world unless there's something really good out there (CA legal only; unfortunately for me).

What do you guys think about a Kimber 45 acp?

OP- don't limit yourself. Most off-roster guns are California legal. You just have to get them via Personal Party Transfer, or PPT. And, be willing to probably pay a premium for them. Good luck.

I agree with Mr. Blue- if you don't have any long guns in your collection, get an AR15 or other semi-auto rifle.

Yes to the M1, no to that price. CMP program is the way to go.
