not unless you can get a CADOJ dangerous weapons permit for an SBS. A Taurus Judge is considered an SBS in CA.

When I was in Minnesota last weekend I went to a Gander Mountain and they had 7 of them for about $550

With the proper paperwork, yes a LEO can own one here in CA.
Much like anything else though, there are hoops to jump through.

Taurus Judge: The gun the Pro Arms team refers to as "the bagel killer."

It has a tendency to produce donut shaped patterns in .410 shot because of the rifled barrel.
