You'd be surprised how many ccw guys primary is .380 in the pocket.
I used to be that guy for many years, but lately most of time is 9m or .45 IWB @ 3:30.

Ya cant beat the jetfire for pocket carry and ya I know its a .25 but it is a pistol you use in a mostly hand to hand distance and of course you dont let the other KNOW you have a gun, punch him in the gut or nuts or head pull the trigger. You are already in a fight no warnings no playing fair but thats just me

Bro, I LOVE my P-239's (.40 even more than 9mm). But a pocket pistol? Are you some kind of dog faced pony soldier or something?

Now that's surprising! The weight of the 642 and a Glock 42 being almost the same I mean.

Because ya my G42 is an absolute pleasure to shoot whereas I wasn't fond of my 638. Recoil spring probably has a lot to do with that but I still figured the snubby weighed considerably less given how much more you feel each shot.

I have my G42 on me right now. Adding TT+2's makes it easy to hold and 9 rounds of 380 GDHP is no joke.

If you fold your arms wearing short sleeves you can tuck any tiny gun inside your off hand sleeve. You luck harmless to say a mugger, but you have a much faster draw than from a holster.

See problem, draw from pocket or holster, then fold your arms.

^ this guy fatty has video, shoots Seecamp at 50 yards, hits silhouette I think 6 times out of 8. And 100 yard video with little Berreta puts most shots on B19.

P365, like the G43 is a bit too large for pocket carry in my opinion. I have both, along with a G42 which I do pocket carry.

I currently have a NAA Mini in .22 Magnum with a .22LR cylinder too.
I used to have the Mini in .22LR but sold it.
Yes it was smaller than the Magnum but it was very hard to control with Stingers or similar hot ammo.
With the old Mini in .22LR I did an informal test one day.
The target was an old Coca Cola glass bottle, the thick walled type at about 10 feet distance.
A .22 Short RNL round bounced off the bottle and the bullet landed back at my feet.
No damage to the bottle besides a small mark where the bullet hit.
A .22 LR RNL standard velocity cracked the bottle and knocked it over but did not break the bottle.
A .22LR Stinger completely destroyed the bottle, but even with a tight grip the gun rotated up in my hand.
There's a lesson in needed velocity and handling control to be had here.
The .22 Short really doesn't have a lot of speed to it and the short barrels of the Minis makes it worse.
That's why I ended up with the Mag version plus the LR cylinder, it's easier to shoot with the slightly larger grip and packs lots more punch while still being able to plink with .22LR or whatever.
The Mag is still small enough to easily fit in a pocket.
I like the NAA .22mag revolvers but our local Sheriff has decreed nothing smaller than a .380 will be allowed on CCW permits in the future

I understand it 100%. I just dont think that if you are carrying only one gun that it should be in your pocket.

I sometimes carry a pocket pistol lWB --P32 or PM9. And, sometimes a 642 in a jacket pocket.
