Owning both (HK USPc & Sig P239), I prefer the Sig.

Another owner of both here. I prefer my P2000 v3 over my other HK's and Sig's. Although I favor the trigger on a couple of the Sig's I think my HK P2000 v3 is the best all around package. Try several of each and make your decision.

I love HKs. I love Sigs, but dont own one anymore. Ive always been partial to HKs, especially since the USP .45 fits my big gorilla hands perfecty.

+1 on the P7M8 - I was able to draw a smiley face on the target at 50 yards. Very nice!

I say the exact same about my H&K's.

I own four of them. I carry one as my primary duty weapon. Never fails, always shoots, accurate, etc....

I prefer the H&K because I don't like SIG's sear-reset (it's actually our department issue weapon too), and they're a bit heavier than I like on my hip.

In the end, I think an H&K or a SIG are kind of 6 to one, half a dozen to another. They're both creme of the crop, IMO.

(I say all that, but I'm switching to a Springfield XD as my duty carry, go figure)

i have had both and it just comes down to personal preference, plastic of metal. both guns are great right out of the box.

One thing that I like about polymer pistols is that I am not checking under the grips and lubing the grip screws constantly. Our place seems to be a moisture trap. I own 2 dehumidifiers..haha!
