I'm something of a S&W junkie and pretty much any time I stumble across a decent deal on a Smith revolver I'll pick it up. I ran into this Model 19 the other day and I couldn't help myself and brought it home with me. I already have a early Model 19, but it is still NIB and as such I am reluctant to shoot it and it remains as a total safe queen. This one is nearly perfect, but it does have a minor scratch on the right side, so I have no problem taking it out and shooting the snot out of it.
I have S&W .357's in K, L and N frames and I just haven't been able to make up my mind if I prefer one size over the others. While the recoil is a bit more stout in the lighter K frames, IMO they balance a bit better than the larger guns. The trade off is the heavier guns handle the recoil better and are easier to shoot more rounds through at any one time.
