              Money no object? Probably the Smith. But if concerned with the budget, the Tracker is a perfectly reliable revolver which will provide many years of service. Rossi is another excellent choice for the budget-conscience buyer, the new ones are built by Taurus but cost a bit less.

              I agree with Bowser--- you probably can't beat a GP100 in that price range..... and maybe not in any price range unless you simply MUST have a wheel gun with the "Colt" name on it.

                  Like others mentioned, the GP100 is a great gun.

                  I'm not familiar with either of those two you mentioned though.

                    Unless you have plans to dump the revolver overboard because your boat ran out of fuel and you had to port in Mexico or let it fall down a storm drain after you rob a 7-11, I'd get the Smith.
