Holster position preference: Cross draw or your strong side?

For visual holsters, just curious what is your holster position preference and if you care to tell, why?

I like it on the strong side.

I have also heard a MAJOR criticism of cross-draw: when drawing, you are sweeping a lot of ground with the barrel. There might be innocent people/things you don't want to shoot at in that sweep.

I've never even tried cross draw, strong side work very well for me.

              Strong side!
If I have to shoot I want to get my pistol on target as fast as possible. I can shoot from a close contact postion if target is that close, easier with strong side. Harder for a threat to stop me from getting the gun onto them (cross draw have to arc almost 180 to get it on target).

I like my belt holster to be strong side. Leather OWB holster with a cant above my left cheek or IWB holster at the small of my back for CCW.

Visual? No idea. When I am going to be in the car for awhile, an OWB cross draw, otherwise pocket carry. I do have to wear something other than my usual wifebeater T with the crossdraw.

Strong side is among the fastest and most reliable modes of carrying, also provides superior conceal-ability in normal modes of dress without sacrificing draw speed!

I prefer strong side always. I just think it's easier to present the weapon in more situations than cross-draw.

Strongside by far. I've never even considered cross draw.

                              I'm the cross draw vote.

When I carry, it's a hunting trip, so having a 3" .44 in a cross draw won't interfere with my rifle.

For SD I have Gunsite training, so naturally it's strong side. Figure that as a citizen and not a high party official, I don't get to CCW, hence my vote for cross draw.
