My bathroom has floor to ceiling 16" tile
Hollow one out, build in a spring loaded tile and your good to go.

Do you have a wastebasket in the bathroom?

If so and it's lined with a plastic bag, slip it in the wastebasket (preferably in a double/triple bag with moisture absorbing packets), then insert plastic bag (preferably an opaque bag). Just keep some form of 'garbage' always in the bag.

Something similar can be done with a laundry hamper or plant bowl if you keep one or the other in the bathroom.

There's also a 'wall clock safe'...



Of course, you could keep in simple by simply placing it in a box of feminine sanitary products.

What's the best way to store a handgun accessible in the bathroom?

1) a holster attached to toilet
2) attached to back end of a drawer accessible from toilet (not on inside of drawer but accessible once drawer pulled all the way out
3) in a baggy in the reservoir maybe with magnet holding it to 1 side to not interfere with moving parts

Curious what better method may exist.

I'd say that 95% of the time I've got great form. Proper stance, positive grip, clear view of target, and presence of mind to stay focused and in the moment.

That missing 5% of the time though.....

What's the best way to store a handgun accessible in the bathroom?

Assume the following:
1) no kids (if kids are visiting they would be put away)
2) do not want to be easily visible / found by guests
3) needs to be accessible if you are dropping a deuce and bad things happen like you hear someone smash through the front door or window
4) firearm will be a glock 19

I've had a house busted into (was not present they busted through door using a crowbar or similar to pry frame and break door) and even with alarm blaring it was still burglarized. Not sure what would have happened if I was there taking a dump or shower...

sink cabinet next to throne. The drawer plug (on back of) that is above the cabinet door. Install (screw) a flat magnet. Holds my 9mm or .380. easily.

Glock under small rag in bottom of small trash can next to toilet, the one where all the used paper goes if you are on septic. Because there is a plastic grocery sack in can for waste paper, gun stays clean, and nobody is going to paw through that when the lid is flipped open. If needed, pull bag out, grab pistol.

This is under a kitchen sink, but could be under the bathroom sink as well. The safe is bolted through the side with carriage bolts.
