Yet to experience glock finger or pinky pinch. But I have only fired 100 rounds the first time out with it. Only thing I noticed that the empty shells like to eject every once and awhile off the top of my head. Front sight is not bright enough in low light to pick up quickly. It slowed me up slightly in aimed rapidfire. Probably just change front sight orange tritium luminescent type.

But what about the G36 and the G30S?

I think the G30S is where its at as far as carrying goes, but I ended up selling both of the ones I've owned. Once you load it up to capacity, it feels like a tank on your hip.

I'd expect the G30S to have a similar recoil impluse to the G36 as the slides are the same, but the G30S should be much easier to grip.

I don't have experience with the 30... but I bet the 30S has noticeably more recoil. Just a guess. I like shooting mine but it is not a "fun" gun to shoot like a G41. I hear a lot of people loving the G30. A G36 is my to-buy Glock list. I don't want any other models, at least on-roster here.

More of a fan of full size glock models when it comes to 10mm and 45 (meaning G20SF and G21SF), but the 30SF is a nice piece as well. You should get conversion barrels for 10mm and 9x25 Dillon if you haven't already...

Finally decided to get me a Glock. I was looking at a sig 220 combat or the Glock 30sf. Main factor for choosing the glock over the sig was size and the 2 more rounds the glock carried. Was my choice correct?

If you ever get a chance to shoot a P220, you’ll know the answer.

Looks like BAR-STO makes a 6" G40 conversion barrel for $220... others might too. Doesn't look like Lone Wolf or KKM does anymore though. Too bad... $99 would be better, but I bet the BAR-STO is a nicer barrel.
