Excellent decision OP. I personally went with the 21sf but everyone should have a .45cal Glock or at least an XD45.

I don't love SPAM, but I usually have a few cans of original and a few of Jalapeno and the required Yoshida's Sauce for Musubi. Better than the car analogies I guess. "I don't like Glocks so they are a Honda Civic! Ya heard?!" "My 1911 is a Ferrari!". Heh.

              Nice choice! Congrats.

I've got a G29SF, G30SF, and G19 that are all carry guns. Super reliable and consistent guns!

Just came back from angeles shooting range. That pistol is a lot of fun in rapid fire drill. Feels about the same as my sig 245 in recoil. But bullet group of 30sf is more tightly grouped. I'll have to compare targets when I make it back to the house.

Compared targets between my sig 245 and glock 30sf and the winner is glock 30 sf. Fist size hole in target at 7 yards were majority of rounds grouped. Have to admit it out shoot my browning bda 45, aka sig 220 European model from late 70's. Not to shabby for first time out with new handgun and unfamiliar trigger action. I give this glock model a big thumbs up.

No rapid fire at ASR. Try Oak Tree instead if you want to dump mags.

I shot my friends Glock and it blew to pieces. That plastic really busts apart when a .45 HP round hits it from a 1911.

                            I thought about getting a Glock 30 until I tried a Kahr P45.

Kahrs P45 falls short in magazine capacity 6 vs 10 for glock 30sf. But if you don't mind being down 4 rounds and it's a little thinner, that's not a bad tradeoff if you carry concealed. I like those extra 4 rounds.

....and the only way 1911's can win a reliability test against a Glock.
I dreamed of owning a (insert off roster gun here)...

Oh yeah....then the earth splits open with me on one side and the (off roster gun) on the other. Then appeared a large red-glowing pit with gavin newscum, diane frankenstein and governor "brown the drain" at the bottom of it, waving their pitchforks at me.
