You know what I like most about the GAP guns? Not many people own them and yet parts and mags are so bountiful that it's a buyers market. Bought some G38 mags a year ago for $10/each shipped and they were brand new. Try finding G17 or G19 mags for that, especially in CA and neutered to boot.

Also, recently found out that even Underwood loads the excellent Lehigh Defense Xtreme Defender bullet in the 45 GAP. This is one formidable self-defense round.

Cant go wrong with the g31. I EDC a g32. I wanted a g33 until i figured out i could conceal a 32 (i also carried a g30, same size but g32 is thinner). .357sig is an awesome round and the glocks function perfect with .40 cal g22and g23 mags so if you have old timers you are over the kalifornia limit. I put a g35 length barrel in my g31 until i get a g35 to convert.
That being said a 45gap also sounds fun.

Hell ya buy them and I’ll pay you when I see you, I see him and he hands me 1 45 acp mag and 4 45 GAP mags, I gave him 8 bucks and the 4 gap mags back. He was as stuck with them, no refund or exchange, details they do matter.

Not more, rather it was designed to fit a .45" cartridge into the same frame size as the 9mm/.40sw pistols.

Glock accomplished this by shortening the OAL of the case to get the 45GAP.

Not a big fan of the round myself, but 37 Gen 3's police-tradeins are available for $270 (without shipping) on Sportsman Guide right now. If you want one it's probably a good buy.

Its just shorter in length and the powder is a little different from what I understand.
That wouldn't affect capacity at all.
The only thing it does for glocks is you can have a grip and frame that is shorter from front to back.
Doh, yeah I realized after I posted that I was wrong. The cartridge is just shorter. I have a Gen2 Glock 21, so I can definitely appreciate a thinner (front to back) Glock grip in .45. Brain fart on my side, I had recalled Glock wanted to make the rounds fit better, and of course they meant front to back!

It's just another round that does absolutely nothing others do.

Looks like a good deal, especially for Glock fans that don't have a 45.

For $270, if they were local, I would totally buy one. I reload a bunch of calibers anyway, .45 GAP is no weirder than any other, once you have the brass I mean.

If I was a Glock guy and didn't already have 45 ACP, I'd get one. To order one cost would be $300 + $50 ffl and state fees.
