.45GAP is more common East of the Mississippi River due to all the LE agencies that adopted it.

All five State law enforcement agencies that had adopted the .45GAP went with Speer 200gr Gold-Dot JHP as their duty ammo.
^Out of those five agencies, three of them still use the .45GAP.

I thought the point of GAP was to fit more rounds into a .45 with a slimmer grip. But with CA 10 round limit, it doesn’t seem useful.

45gap is still a 45 in diameter.
Its just shorter in length and the powder is a little different from what I understand.
That wouldn't affect capacity at all.
The only thing it does for glocks is you can have a grip and frame that is shorter from front to back.

To me, the G37 is the perfect CA gun. It's only 10 rounds so perfect for this state. It's exactly the same frame as the G17, so better handling than the fat boy G21 if your hands are averaged sized.

It shoots unbelievably smooth and with minimal recoil. Plus, Vedder holsters makes a Lighttuck for it so it's nice to carry and hides well with the Vedder claw attachment.

Mags are plentiful. If you reload, the GAP guns are excellent. I have all three models.

If you just carry it, Federal HST and Speer Gold Dots exist for it.

Not much to hate about a G37 for CA.

I bought my G37, 38, and 39 for $900 total and they were brand new and unfired with the frying pan finish. How can you beat that.

My best Glock purchases to date. The GAP Glocks could be my favorite Glocks and maybe my favorite pistols of all time.

Even this guy proclaimed the G37 to be his favorite gun.

If you can result buy it online for fair price then it’s not too far landish to carry it. It may not be a SHTF caliber, but I carry everyday, the **** doesn’t hit the fan often lol
