For more "seasoned shooters", do you still shoot .22 or .380 handguns?

I like shooting my .22lr rifles at the 100 yard range. It's the little round that could.

No matter what activity one is engaging in or what level of proficiency one has achieved, it never hurts to regularly practice the basics. A .22 lets you do that regularly and cheaply.

One of my CC guns is a G42 because it conceals so well with summer clothing. I practice with it at least once a month. I put a minimum of 500 rounds through it a month so I can stay proficient with it.

As I have time, I shoot my 9mm and 10mm guns.
Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.

A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.

Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?

Ruger MkII is still one of my favorite guns to shoot despite not owning one because of the ****ing roster. Shooting is fun. Throwing quarters or dollar bills downrange is not.

The older I get the more I like 22 pistols and smaller cigars. And Sinatra. There must be a connection.

Pushing 50 years of age and I still shoot both .22lr and .380. My Marlin Model 60 still gets regular use and I've owned it since I was 12 years old. My primary carry gun during the summer months is a Sig P238, so I shoot .380 quite a bit.

Ruger Mk.III - every time I get the yips with my 1911, it's back to the .22 to work on the basics.

Ergonomics are good, vis-a-vis the 1911... and it's cheaper to feed.

Never got into 380 either but I love shooting my BAR 22lr. Always puts a smile on my face. It was my first firearm.

No. If I am going to expend time and money shooting I shoot my match guns. If I want cheap practice I dry fire my match guns

22s are fun. For me, it's not always about the big boom. I only shoot 380 because my girlfriend has a ppk.

I dont have an issue with 380, I just try to keep my number of calibers under control.

                        I can go through a .22lr brick in one range trip and it's no biggie;
10/22, AR15-22, SP101, LCR, Mark II 1911-22, Buck Mark, etc.
doesn't matter. It's a fun, economical round with many platforms.

                        Yes, I still shoot it

My MKIII Target and my 10/22 get a lot of play when I go to the range.

Sold my Walther P22 a few months ago, so I am not shooting any .22 at the moment. I have two LCPs and a P238; with one LCP currently my primary summer carry. I always take one of the .380s to the range to practice.

I shoot more 22lr than anything else, and I shoot a lot of 9mm, 40, 223, 308, 30-30 and 45acp, among many others. It's just plain fun! My Paclite with red dot is a blast, my Smith M41 is incredible, my Walther Uzi makes me giggle, all of the 10/22's are fun, my Ruger M96/22 is cheap fun lever gun action, my MkI and MkII still get taken out occasionally, my AR22 gets brought every third trip or so... and on and on and on...

I've been shooting for +20 years as well. I love my .380 pistols and shoot them often. If I've taken a long break from shooting, then I enjoy the rimfire more because of the reduced noise and recoil, but lately I've been shooting several times a week and have not been shooting .22LR, although I've been working on a recently adopted AMT Autmag in .22Mag.
