never fired a 380 before, may have to one day. If I bring a 22 in anything other than a rifle, I'll usually use it to close out a range session. I find that I develop MORE of flinch after shooting 22, and then moving up to any other caliber

For more "seasoned shooters", do you still shoot .22 or .380 handguns?

.22 shooting is the purest form of the sport. It's what they shoot in the Olympics.Comment

It's a lot of fun to sit in a comfortable chair and trim twigs of of the backyard trees with an old Winchester model 62A.Comment

I love shooting .22s. I've been thinking about getting another one; probably a Ruger mk IV and a suppressor.
I think generally the .22 cycle for a lot of gun owners is that they learn how to shoot with it, get tired of it because it's not powerful enough, and then eventually come back to it because it's fun. For me, it's not always about the power of the round as much as it is about having fun.Comment

Always fun at the range is my Ruger Mark III, Target model with bull barrel. She is the sweetest dead accurate semi-auto in 22LR there is. Love this little beauty !Comment
