$1300 is cheap, considering LAV 1911s are over $5000

Nice. What kind of groups (size) and repeatability are you seeing on what size target ? What ammo do you like?

You can shoot a bone stock one the exact same lol.

Ive learned to save my money from doing instagram mods by shooting them stock and I can run circles around kids with fully pimped out glocks

But would you run around a person with the same shooting experience with that modded gun?

I would agree on the accuracy at shorter distances. But after transitioning to the RMR, speed to acquire and reacquire target is significantly faster. That is if using an RMR is considered pimping out.

In regard to the Vickers, I take the discussion here with a grain of salt. There are the Glock haters that will hate Glocks and use any opportunity to $h!t on them. I pretty much disregard just because I shoot often and well with Glocks thus rendering any of these comments moot, they're irrelevant to me. YMMV. There are those who own, shoot, and prefer Glocks who don't see the value proposition to charging $1300 for the parts/mods. There are those who have the money to spend and it's their right to choose if they want the Vickers/WC. It's just not for me as I prefer RMR, extended slide release and my own trigger job and I'm GTG.

I forgot. We live in Calif where a bare bones Colt 1911 are commanding prices close to $3000. I've owned my share of 1911's from Kimber S&WColts Baers and SA Customs and there is no way no how they are better than a Springfield TRP or a Les Baer in any way. You can get a Wilson CQB for that price. IMO it's utterly lunacy and I'm a Colt fan.

I hit the 300 yard berm a few times before, but I was aiming for a target at the range. Just one of those general targets, average targets.

Did used to hit TV tray sized target or B27 sideways maybe (being kind of a red neck, I think it might have been an actual TV tray - seriously)... like every time at 300 yards with irons. But that was with a 7.62x54R, not a rimfire that peters out at 80 yards. I want your ammo and barrel, man. Good shooting.

Did you see Jerry hit a balloon at 1000 yard with a revolver? Rather pop a balloon?

                            Somebody is buying them.

I've always been a comparative shopper....penny pinching is in my blood.

Its the Vickers for $1350......or 2 Glock 9mm's of my choice with $.15 trigger job, new connector and a case of ammo
EDIT; I forgot the Ghost extended slide release.....so its 1/2 case of ammo then

I will take #2 please....as its shocking how good those Glocks shoot with very little work done.

When I was a kid growning up in New Mexico I use to go out to the family cattle ranch and shoot Prairie Dogs. We sat up on a hill that looked down on the dog town, looking back on it today it was 150 to 200 yards to the dog town. I was shooting my Grandmother's Marlin 39A. I wasn't a 1 shot 1 kill shooter, but I did kill a fair amount of Dogs..I even would shoot .22 Shorts. Looking back I wondered how I did it with a .22, but I did it because I didn't know any better and no one told me I couldn't. 300 yards with a 22 is believable, you're not going to hit 100% of the time, but you're hit your target.
