    Vickers Elite Gen5 Glocks

Earlier this month at 2018 NRA Annual Meeting, Wilson Combat has introduced their new Vickers Elite Gen5 Glock 19 and Glock 17 pistols. The customization package was designed in cooperation with Larry Vickers and represents Larry's vision of the improved Glock carry and service pistol.

    Would you buy this?

The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.

Probably wouldn't buy this. I do love my Vickers gen 3 17 though.

It looks good but to much for my taste. It $700 or under I might have considered.

I think MSRP is about $1300, from the horses mouth, as it were.

heck no. that's an $800 markup for an extended mag release, stippling and a "tuned action" (which doesn't really mean much on a glock, imo)

might not look as pretty, but you can basically get the same results for $3.25 ($3 lone wolf extended mag release, $0.25 trigger job and a soldering iron).

Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

If I had $1300 to blow in a pistol yeah I’d probably want one and I can imagine there are plenty Glock fans who would too. Just like anything whether it’s a car watch guitar or any luxury item the law of diminishing returns kicks in sharply after a certain price point. I’ll take their word a Vickers 1911 is a great 1911 but no way is it worth the premium they command esp since I don’t like 1911’s that much. $1300 is certainly doable for most people who think the Glock is their favorite defense pistol. It’s an attainable pistol for those who think highly of LAV and Glock.

Nah, but I'd buy an on roster Gen 3 with upgraded sights and a little baggie of the special parts that I could install myself post sale.

Nope. Don't care for the stippling or front serrations. Just picked up my 19.5 the other day put on a set of Ameriglo Agent sights and it's now perfect for me.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.
