There are people who like Glocks and people who hate them so you gotta be able to discern between the two in these Glock threads. Second this is obviously a pistol for people with money to burn. I don't think it's worth it but I don't have money to burn either. Car companies come out with a base model but there's also the fully optioned one that can cost twice as much. Those who buy the base model can say it's the "same thing". Yeah I guess but for the guy or gal who buys the fully optioned one it's not.

With Glocks though I do understand why Glock fans roll their eyes at this. Glocks are affordable simple guns that needs little to nothing to perform at a high level out of the box. And this thing with all the trimmings goes against this philosophy.

I really don't consider price for something I REALLY want. This gun is just "cool" for me and not a major want. For those that want something like this I don't begrudge them. Its just not my thing.

It used to be only one group of people that were into guns back in the days but since the Roster and Obama era you now have different groups.

I am from the different group. I came from the car forums. Any modification for improvments of HP or time are always a plus.....but then you have retards that add stickers and racing strips to their cars and think they are speed racers.

In the car world, its skill driving, more power and better time. Turbo or cut down on the weight plus practicing.
Cosmetic modification should only be for women. Nobody fking cares what slide cut you have on your glock or wtf color it is......nor do they care wtf chrome rims you have on your car

In the gun world, people should focus on either accuracy or more power. And since you cannot make your gun Auto for more power, people should spend money on accuracy and master their guns at the range and not wtf color their glock should be or what fking stipping grips their glock should have. Only an idiot thinks green glocks are better than black glocks or a Gen5 glocks are better than a Gen2 glocks.....talk about your gun ricers

Change the sights on your glock for improvments......not because you dont like it.

Ok you brought up ricers cause Ive seen a ton of car shows with cars built on looks. Racing strips and what not are just for looks but slide cuts, RMR cuts etc are for making the gun track faster. The different colors are just like cars. People just like certain colors. Also you can argue a gen 5 is better then a gen 2 glock. Some major charges to the point people even seek out the 3s I believe for the recoil spring (not a glock guy but I handle them for work).

The car game is just as silly as the gun game. I think people are moving back to stock for reliability but then you see Faxon arms making WHOLE slides, Wilson pimping out Glocks and a Agency 1911. Guess "Pimp my gun" is alive and well still.

I'm all for smartly modifying handguns, but for around the same money I'd send it to Boresight Solution and/ or ATEI.

That's some ugly laser etch on the frame and do not care for the slide either... I'd rather the standard RTF unless that etch does a lot more than brand it a V.

Laser etch can't hit the front or back of the grips so typically you are left with OEM texture there. Anyone who likes that look could probably get a better texture from a shop like

I completely agree with this sentiment. The only difference is I see stippling and undercuts as a plus due to improved/higher grip (in my hands). In my eyes stippling is ugly but I don't own or alter any of my weapons for their looks.

The pistol is too overpriced for my tastes.

                      WTB used AK MFER.

I am not a fan of stippling. I like an aggressive grip like the M&P 2.0 but I'm not feeling the grip. Lazered or no, its never been my thing. The cut on the slide are decent though.

                          I recently purchased a Ruger 10/22 and a 3x9x40 Nikko scope. I am hitting 300 yards with a 22LR.

I wanted to buy a Magpul butt stock....but wtf for?...I am already hitting 300 yards with the stock butt stock wont make me shoot any better.

Laser etch done right with a good pattern looks pretty damn clean, but Gen4 RTF and Gen3 RTF2 are great.

I have the Gen3 "Vicker's" and besides different sights installed it was just some Vicker's endorsed Tango Down parts which are cool, but you could buy seperately. RTF2 is what makes it... not a grip plug or mag base plates that I already had on a bunch of mags.

Slide milling is cool if you are also getting a RMR cut as the main upgrade. Just IMHO. I like looking at non-OEM Glocks. A lot of them are cool looking.

Don't do glocks and I focus on skills plenty. I like my things to look cool, too. LOL I add my XDm for what like... 5 yrs? Thing as so many rounds form ranges, matches, classes, desert that I got a different slide to gusy up the old girl.
