That reserve scam only worked (for a little while) in the state of New Mexico. Even when it was operational, it wouldn't have done any good for folks in California with regard to the roster.
The good similar scam that was available o Californians was the San Gabriel Valley transit Authority Police. But that one also got shut down pretty quick.
The Knights Templar Police don't even get an honorable mention among California CCW scams, but they are (were) notable because one of their principal scammers was an aide to Kamala Harris.If you build a man a fire, you'll keep him warm for the evening. If you love serving your country and the people of the state of California AND you wanted to be an LEO anyway, great. Go for it and get your exempt status.
If you just want exempt status, seek life elsewhere. That’s the easiest way to circumvent the roster.
I absolutely despise the roster and the 10 day waiting period. If you have 40 F’in firearms at home, you should not have to wait 10 days. If you were going to do something bad, you already have tools available. Sooooooo...sigpicComment

Become an FFL. You can order off roster for stock. You won't be able to sell them except to LEO but you can take them out and play with them all you want. While you're at it stock some demo silencers too.
