    Why no Canik in CA

hoping some of you all could shed light on why Canik handguns are banned (aside from ppt of course). I know there is a long list of reasons why a manufacturer might choose to not bother complying with CA laws, so lets limit the CA bashing here. Any specific technical or political reasons anyone aware of? For instance did they not pass drop tests or something?

Also, anyone know if there is any effort on Century arms part to turn out CA compliant handguns?

      Say this three times:
      Microstamping
      Microstamping
      Microstamping

It is a technology that does not exist. There can never be a new semi auto added to the roster.

So whenever you ask why XYZ is not on the roster, the answer is microstamping. Every single time, if you are asking about a semi auto handgun.

Have you heard of the "California Approved Handgun Roster ??

Google that and get back to us.

          Oh yeah...and microstamping.

2 good links that will educate you on the past and current state of handgun laws in CA. And the pending lawsuit.

It’s far too dangerous! Just like the others that have fallen off or never made it to our roster. It’s for our own safety man! You should feel good about the overlords keeping you safe. By the way we’re you just born last night by any chance?

                Bro.

No new pistol designs can be approved for sale in CA, period.

In order to get on the roster now, a semi-auto pistol has to have microstamping--a technology which does not feasibly exist.

It's a de facto ban on ALL new pistol designs.

                Thank the Democratic Party.

There is a difference between BANNED and not on the roster.

Uh, when a fictional technology is demanded for a new gun to be added to the roster, yeah, that's a ban.

Yep. It is a ban on dealer sales to the general public of any new pistol designs that came out after the stupid microstamping requirement. What year was that, 2006?
