Ugh! I bought a Glock!

I own a Glock 20 , 29 and Od 17 . They are the Small block Chevy of Firearms everyone and their mother makes parts and accessories. Generally Cheap and just plain work for any occasion.

Congrats OP, G34 is a nice choice, a bit more unique than the typical G17 or G19.

I've yet to add one myself to my collection, although my G34 LWD barrel will be arriving shortly to turn my G17 into a surrogate version until that special day comes.

Same here. No hate, but it's not hard to find something more interesting than a Glock.

Shame, too. The G19 fits my hand really well. I would go for a G20...

I have had a 25 year love hate relationship with those ugly guns and certainly they have their flaws but their robust and simple design keeps me coming back despite their problems. In every collection you should have at least one of Gaston Glocks creations.

I almost bought a Glock 20SF because I wanted a 10mm. Fortunately the Glock grip angle is still all wrong for my hand and I couldn't buy it. Phew.

Ha! I am no Glock fanboi but bought one, a 20SF, because I really wanted something in 10mm and there are not many choices in CA. I love the 20SF. I haven't bought any other Glocks yet, but I don't hate on them any more.

Get the 20SF!

Years ago my first 9mm was a G19 gen3. It's a fine reliable pistol. But the finger grooves on the grip just does not work for me. Much later I bought a G34 gen4, sold it after a year.
I kept the 19 just to have it in the collection. I don't shoot it much.

I own a 26, 29, and 17C, all gen 3. My 17C is my favorite pistol, even against my 1911 and USP. My 29 is great, being really the perfect backpacking pistol. My 26... I really have trouble liking it. It is really just too big and thick to fill the small gun role, and too small to really fit into big gun roles. But I'll take 2 out of 3

Home invasion ranges are usually less than 7 yards. Do not worry about acquiring the rear sight. Find the muzzle (front sight), point it at center of mass, and pull the trigger. That will do the job. And you won't need more than seven rounds.
