    CW9 all the way.
Sold my G27 and now have the CW9.
Much more happy and I am a big fan of the 40S&W.

I'd go Kahr, but I'd go mk9 or k9 in Elite dress. May as well get a purty gun that works well too!

Went and did the DROS on the OD Glock 26 today. The shop had a CZ 75 compact steel frame. Wish there was no 1 in 30 and no waiting.

But, I can't keep spending like this.

Good decision. As I indicated earlier, I have both a Kahr CW9 and a Glock 26, and I have more faith in the 26 to go "bang" every time. Also, personally, I find it easier to rack the slide on the 26 than the CW9, and I like the trigger reset better. Obviously, each person has their own opinion, and I hope you'll be happy with your choice.

Why do you have more faith for one to go bang over the other? Have you had reliability problems with the Kahr?

Depends on the shooter. I have both G19s and G26s and I shoot the 26 equally as well as the 19. As a previous post stated, believe the hype, it is an awesome shooter.

I don't like the CW9 mainly because of the slim grip and 7-8 round mags instead of 10. Plus I was never impressed with fit and finish of the CW9, even compared to a Glock.

When I move to free territory soon, my wife and I already have our G26 set-ups all ready to go for CCW.

Going with the 26 gives you the option of using G19 or
G17 magazines; although they are longer, the standard capacity (15+1 or 18) makes a good reload carry option (provided you can). If in our wildest dreams the magazine ban gets totally tossed, you have some extra capacity options.

It's been awhile since I picked it up, but here it is. Got an XGrip adapter for G19 mags.

Don't do a lot of double taps do u? For slow fire the CW9 is ok, but for a carry piece, a shorter reset, no issues with HP's, and not as prone to OOB jams, the Shield is better.

If CCW is not an option, then why go for such a small gun? They are not exactly a joy to shoot. A Glock 19 or better yet 17 is much more enjoyable. Fatigue does not set in as quickly, and you don't end up limp wristing through no fault of your own. Something than ends up happening with all tiny guns chambered in a full size defensive caliber. I totally get it if you have some special need such as concealed carry, where you have to compromise ease of use and comfort for concealability...but when you have the choice...go big (as in full size frame). You'll enjoy longer shooting sessions before you get tired.

I say all of that as a proud Glock 26 owner. I very much enjoy my Glock 26. I just know that little sucker wears me out much faster than her big sister the Glock 17 I also own. If I had to choose between them and concealability wasn't an issue, I'd choose the Glock 17 every day of the week...and my Glock 17 is an older model, not a fancy G3 like my G26 is.

I love my OD G26 Gen3. I use the Pearce Grip Extension XL and it doesn't pinch my hand or add excess to the rear of the pistol grip to make it print, like many claim it does.

I got my CW9 from Riflegear a few weeks ago @ the $299.99 price, and I'm not LEO. Did the parameters of the sale change?
