My SP2022 is one of my favorites accurate and not a single issue in 2K rounds. Only thing I don't like about it is the cost of mags

You get what you pay for. If you have never shot a better gun, then the SP2022 is a good bang for the buck but it is far from being a nice gun. Please do not think all Sig's are the same. You can always upgrade the trigger and hopefully it will meet your expectations. Go shoot it another time before you decide to keep or get rid of it.

I usually don't advocate selling guns but if you hate it as much as you say dump it. sigs are hit or miss in my experience if you're right handed and get a good one you love it. but if your grip isn't compatible or you get a bad one (the stories of their q.c.decline are true) sell it and get something you like better.

Sell it or trade for a Glock. Problem solved.

i found the 2009/2022 to be a very flexible and accommodating platform, inherently quite accurate with a variety of grip options and excellent upgrade potential from Grayguns.

I would, as others have advocated, recommend that you use it for a while and see if it grows on you. You'll likely identify what it is you would prefer to modify or improve..and if not there are plenty of other options and platforms out there.

I sold my 2009 and instantly regretted it. Oh well

I made the mistake of buying an SP2022 after having a P226, 229, 220. The SP2022 did not compare. What bugged me about the gun was that the slide to frame finish was very loose and rattled. It was very accurate and reliable though and the lockup was tight

Also, the trigger pull was so long in the DA that the the trigger actually touched the back of the trigger guard before it broke. Also, the trigger made a crunching sound everytime I pulled it. I don't know, maybe the Crimson Trace lasergrip I put on there was interfering somehow.

Also, no ability to put a short reset trigger in there.

First and only gun I ever sold. The new owner was very happy with it so....

I may give another one a try again one day. [emoji849]

I actually liked it. The SA pull was smooth and light compared to the P229 and P226 I was comparing it to. I ended up with the P226 but I have a soft spot for the 2022.

There's a "CA version" in the Marketplace for $1k.

Sell it and get something you love from the start. I tend not to keep toys I don't like. If I were to keep it, I figure it'll just sit in a safe. There's someone else who will enjoy it more. I like feeling confident in the tools I use.

I like it for the price I picked mine up in like new condition for $350 for the money it's a decent gun. I would not say it's junk nor would I say it's the best...It's a introduction to firearms gun like most sub $500 dollar guns are....you should be able to handle any gun make some adjustments to your grip if you are riding the slide stop adapt to the platform you are shooting or get rid of it it's as easy as that....I tend to make my own decisions not ask others to make them for me or convince me to keep or sell I'm not interested in how other people feel about this or that but how it works for me in my hands.

^^^ this. Only gun I've ever sold, replaced with a G19 and couldn't be happier.
