    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

they're really hit or miss. you hear a lot of complaints about the misses though. I think your money would be better spent on a ruger or Smith and Wesson

I have a 7 shot 4" 357 Tracker. I like it a lot. It is not as good as my older S&W revolvers, but it isn't a POS. The only problems I had with it was I got some light primer strikes on some of my reloads. I am not sure if it was the gun or the primers. I think I used CCI small rifle primers because I didn't have small pistol primers. This was back in 2008 when no reloading components were available. Another negative is the front sight gets dirty from the muzzle porting. I also removed the stock grip and installed a Hogue grip.

I bought one used, i love it. goes to the range with me more than my gp100 , but I don't shoot revolvers much (actually, i don't shoot much at all )

it's lighter, and balances better(for me) than the GP100. Lets me get on target transitions faster than the gp100. i really like the feel of the squishy grip, maybe not so much the looks. I've got short fingers so the smaller grip works better for me than the gp100.

I too had some apprehension about buying it, but sales clerk told me that Taurus has a lifetime warranty, so i took the gamble and glad i did

I also bought a used one a few years back. I've had no issues with it.

I haven't seen one for sale around here for awhile now. But when a used one pops up it doesn't last. You can also find them on GunBroker but you will have to ship it to a FFL who can do the single action conversion.

I didn't think of that. I wanted a 4" 41 magnum Tracker, but it was off roster.

They have a lifetime warranty to anyone who owns it, not just to the original buyer.

Did you tell the person you sold it to that it didn't work?

Yes, but as a 2nd owner I had to pay $50 to ship it to them.

My brother had 2, 38spl revolvers that were about a thousand serial #'s apart, and I have a 22 revolver. ALL had to go in for warranty service. I doubt I would ever buy another one. Definitely would not buy anything for defense!

I have one and I enjoy shooting it a lot
The "Gribber" grips absorb a lot of recoil and the porting helps as well.
That said, inspect it thoroughly. My first one was a dud. The clerk and I both noticed that the cylinder didn't close smoothly at all.
The store swapped that one out for a different one and it's been a great shooter for me
Good luck. $425 is a very good price if its in great shape.

The real question is how many more times are you going to pay to send the Taurus back and forth to the Florida chop shop, I mean, repair station, before you decide to pawn it off to some other guy who asks whether a taurs is a good deal.

I'm betting anyone here a drive thru #4 with cheese that this used ex condition tarus has been to the repair station already courtesy of the current owner.

If you are going to spend $425 I think is best to save a few more bucks and find a used Ruger GP100 or Security Six. I have had Taurus 357's that worked fine I do remember one having some slight problem.

I currently have a nickel Taurus model 66 4in but I only paid $150 for it 2-3 years ago.
