Tried to DROS a Ruger GP100 44spl today

Might be the zero. Had some confusion trying to dros a redhawk kodiac that started with zero.

My FFL would have gotten right on the phone with the DOJ himself. I think FFLs have their own helpline for that system. The DOJ staff that answer it are usually quite helpful.

Since I was there today I just asked my LGS about this. They were able to pull up the Ruger GP100 01761 on the DROS Entry System without difficulty. It's the fifth entry from the top.

I am a big fan of reloading the 44 Special. 245 grain LSWC and 6.0 grains of Unique. Classic load.

I am so glad I don't live in California anymore. I miss the scenery of NorCal where I lived, but not any of the politics or laws they are forever cooking up. I went in to a Sportsman's Warehouse last week, and they had a Beretta M9-22LR right there on the shelf. Not only did I not have to worry about whether or not it was on some dumb list, but I walked out of the store with it about 10 minutes after I saw it. Nice.....

Yes, went back to the FFL today, different guy working the DROS computer. He found the listing right off the bat. So now it 10 days and counting.
Again, Calguns is the go to place for gun issues and answers.
