Tried to DROS a Ruger GP100 44spl today

My newly DOJ listed Ruger GP 100 in 44spl arrived at my local FFL yesterday from Davidson's Gallery of Guns in AZ. Today I tried to DROS it. My FFL claims the SKU does not come up on his DROS system's pull down list of approved guns. I had him look it up the DOJ website's roster of approved guns. It's still listed as approved. My FFL claims he can't sell / DROS the Ruger to me. He suggested I call the DOJ and see what the hang up is. I'll try giving them a call next week.
My question is - Has anyone else had this issue with the Ruger or other guns being approved on one list and not the other? Any solutions other than sending the gun back to Davidson's?
I can't be the only in the whole state who wants a GP100 44spl.

Don't ship it back. Wait until the two lists match. It might take another week or so.

It's strange that Davidson's would even allow you to buy the gun if it wasn't on the roster.

That's exactly what he's saying. It's on the roster, but not in the DROS system.

Sorry, I see that you said it's on the roster, but he can't find it on the DROS dropdown. Maybe he's just missing it?

I don't think I can have the Ruger transferred to another FFL, what with invoicing and credits, etc from Davidson's. Maybe just have to wait a few more days or call the DOJ ( and maybe open a can of worms??)

I'm not sure about Davidson's. Sometimes they list on-roster guns as restricted (Kahr K9). Other times they list off-roster guns as acceptable (glock36 with the rail). At first the g36 was restricted, then it was available for quotes for purchase for a while, then it was shown as restricted again.

I don't understand it. Sorry you are going through trouble. It really sucks having money and time trapped by senseless governmental problems that attack normal people's rights.

Maybe enter the "0" (or remove the "0") when entering the serial number?

Maybe your FFL is typing in 1761 instead of 01761. Have them try that or a combination of.

They put the px4 storm 9mm back on the list and it wasn't in the dros system immediately.
