That's right, it says so right there on the box. If it was a lie, then how come nobody has sued them for false advertising? I rest my case.
Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

My department transitioned to Gen 4 21s 3-4 years ago, and we had a series of brand new pistols exhibit this problem. As one of the armorers, I saw it and had it happen to me. I can assure you operator error was not the problem. Some were fixed with new mag catches, but we noticed an unusual wear pattern on several magazines, around the notch in the mag body the catch engaged. Mag body and/or mag catch maybe out of spec? Glock sent us some new mags, and we haven't had any further problems. 17s were just authorized, and most are switching, but I'm staying with my 21.

The only problem I have with my Glock is that I only have 1.

That could be a big problem.

I will try with all the mags I have next week. I also bought a Vickers Tactical mag release. I will try that also.

I changed the magazine catch and test fired yesterday. All 4 magazines I had worked fine now. I checked the old magazine catch and saw the engagement area was very small. It might have engaged enough to hold the magazine, but not held strong enough when the recoil was produced.

                    Glad you got it fixed!

                      OP,

                      Just for fun and before you do any mechanical changes;

                      A) Have someone else shoot the gun and see what happens,
                      B) Shoot the beast one-handed with your non-dominate only.

If, if it is not the gun, then I'd still alter it so this problem doesn't happen again.

This often happens when an experienced auto pistol shooter wears gloves, seen it a thousand times.

I set up a course of fire; start position was kneeling with loaded gun in holster; gloves on both hands with jack handle in shooting hand. Four shots needed; A zone hits only for score; 3 yards. Bring your own gloves or gloves will be provided; Surprise match; no walk thru.

Should have heard all the pi$$ & moaning.
"My car never has a flat, and if it did, I'd never wear gloves" Yeah, right.

Other people had the same problem.

I did not shoot it weak handed, but shot one handed anyways.

Shot it again today, and had no problem.

I don't wear gloves when I shoot, even in cold weather.

                          Glad you found the issue.

As to the course of fire I mentioned earlier....some of the contestants told me the stage wasn't practical because they would never find themselves in a situation where they would be wearing gloves and have an immediate need to shoot a handgun.

A few of those shooters realized that the time it took to remove a glove and start shooting took double the amount of time as compared to the shooters who learned how to shoot with gloves on.

                          To each his own.

I don't like to say xxxxxx will never happen to me. No one will ever know what will happen. Better get ready for any possible situation.

                              A Glock with an issue?
