I also have a couple TRPs and just picked up an MC Operator. It's a gun I have absolutely no qualms shooting the crap out of and so far it's been a blast!
I just need to put some grip tape on the front and I'm set.
I'm in North SD county so if you're willing to drive to Iron Sights you're more than welcome to shoot it.

Thanks JF, I might take you up on the offer. Have a P320 if you want to take that out for a spin.

I love those grips. Which exact model are those and do they come in slim.
The color is a perfect match for the green frame.
Also if the texture is rough, can you sand them down to smooth them out a lil bit or will it ruin the pattern or look?

      thanks

Thanks. Those green G10 grips on my California gun (which was equipped with the rubber Pachmayer wrap-arounds) are directly from Springfield Armory. Call them and see if they currently have any overstock in grips for the 49-state MC Operator, the one that comes with the frontstrap "Octo-grip" checkering.

A close second would be some VZ brand G10 grips available at, among other places I'd think, Brownells.
