Are single stack 9mms fun?

It depends what we're talking about. My Wilson Combat full size steel CQB in 9mm is beyond fun! I get a big stupid grin on my face every time I shoot it and it lasts for hours.

"Fun," however, is not a word that ever enters my mind when I'm shooting my Springfield XDS 9mm sub compact. 50 rounds through it and I'm always left wondering why the hell I bought it.

If you're thinking about buying something small and sub-compacty, I would ABSOLUTELY rent it and try it out before you throw down your hard earned cash for one. "Small guns" and "fun" are words that don't usually go together. YMMV

Generally, full-size & compact size single-stack 9x19mm pistols are fun and subcompact size single-stack 9x19mm pistols are not as fun.
