Super light and clean trigger, very comfortable.

Only complaints... Kimber only provides one magazine, and on a $1500 "Custom Shop" stainless gun with cool ball milling and special grips... the MSH is simply 20tpi silver plastic.

I replaced mine with a Kimber stainless MSH/Magwell and VZ "Rune" Grips

I love the Raptor grips, but from what I've heard, they are made from "unobtanium" and you can't even get replacements from Kimber.

I tried to track down the black version of the grips..... nope! Heh they really are unobtanium.
-- I love the mythological significance given to Dum Dum Bullets. As if they're little tactical nukes, stacked up in "Assault Clips" ready to be "sprayfired" "from the hip" by pistol grip equipped "bullet hoses" instead of early variations of the softpoint bullets people have been using to take game with (and use for self-defense) for the last century.

Sounds good. I doubt you'll have any fte and or ftf. Have about 1500 rounds on my trp full rail (shot perfecta, cci blazer, american eagle, federal hst and statfire hollow points) and it shoots like how it did on its very first mag. The fit is as tight as any high end 1911's I have shot. Enjoy it...

Very nice! Just picked up the same 1911.

As mentioned, you avoided wasting money and time by going directly to the goal gun.

            Congrats.

PS no shame with using a little painters tape.

That is something new. I have 2 older Professionals and just got a new Operator. Only the Operator had the cutout.

They do shoot well. I have 800 rounds through mine and it still locks up super tight. On my Les Baers the tightness was gone in 200 rounds. They still shoot straight but not nearly as well as the Pro's.

                A $3500 1911 came with Promags?

...or do you mean "Pro" mags?

                  Regardless, they are Metalform mags.

Depending on what else you own, I'd argue its worth it.

That would make a recent purchase I made redundant! Hahaha! Jk.
