What's the current price on the M&P45 with thumb safety model?

Know of any shops that have them in stock?

    Thanks

I have experience with the M&P40 NMS fullsize.

It's a fine gun, no malfunctions, but I don't like the stock trigger. There is supposedly an easy way to change the overtravel and smooth it out a bit, but I don't want to go change mine.

          Overall, not a bad gun.

I switched over from a Glock 23 to an M&P 40 Compact for carry because I like the S&W so much better.

The M&P is nicer to shoot than the Glock and certinly better than the XD. If I were a new shooter I'd get one. Since I'm not and have been shooting Glocks for along time I'll stick with them.

I don't need to add another chassis to my stable, and I have fat mags for my Glocks and that's not going to happen for the M&P crowd.

The Glock has proven itself for reliablity. I'm sure the Smith will do the same, it just takes time.

From what I've heard the Smiths are big sellers in CA but haven't made the inroads into the rest of the country yet.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

Why won't the M&P Pro become California Legal? Thanks for the replies.

I think I'll pull this thread back up to see if anyone who knows the answer is monitoring the forum now. I'd like to know, too.

Another vote in favor of the M&P. I have the 45 w/o thumb safety and really enjoy shooting the gun.

Several days later the bolt was rusted shut but I guess the fouling wasnt TOO bad.

My MP45 is excellent, no FTF so far (3k)! I clean every 1000 rds but it is not so dirty like 1911 ( for 1911 I got to clean every 300). One con: trigger 7.5 lbs compare to 5.5lbs for Sigs and 4 lbs for 1911s.

I have 3 M&P's (9mm, 9c & 45FS). All have around 1k rounds thru them. So far, no failures, no problems..

                          Nice guns for sure!
