      Nice

Good job helping her get over her dislike of firearms. If she needs something slimmer than a Glock then she should try an M&P Shield in 9mm. I think they are cheaper than Glocks too. Or she might enjoy shooting a CZ P-01 or CZ 75 Compact.

I can't recommend a sub compact to anyone, specially a new shooter. They're more difficult to shoot well. I would check out CZ's with her though, since I know she's never going to fully disassemble it. And if it needs to be I'll probably get stuck doing it.. I hate roll pins and I hate working on hammer fired guns, too many parts, too complicated. At a minimum I will need a punch, a roll pin punch, a plastic hammer and a pair of needle nose pliers. Small rant aside.

She's used to it, the Antelope Valley is a landfill. It's always hot here also, we were in the triple digits a few weeks ago.

Good job. Here's my mom shooting for the first time four years ago. She swears she can shoot better than me :-D

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

                  That's freaking awesome!

My mom has bought me guns for 30 years and really enjoyed looking at, learning about and holding my guns but I could never get her to go shooting with me.

Now she has too many problems and couldn't go if she wanted to.

                  Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

She's coming up on 76 and I don't think she'll ever get the strength back in her hands to be able to hold on to a gun after she pulls the trigger.
