I read the sticky , how can they make a law requiring technology that is not fully developed yet ?

My understanding is micro stamping is something that exists but not developed for handguns yet and I guess never will be , because it would make pistols too expensive. Do I have that right ?

This is a free country, and free countries never imposed unfair legislation against the people, so the micro-stamping law isn't unfair.

Micro stamping is a sham. Not only does it boot exist it likely never will exist and is completely and totally debatable even if it does by some miracle come to fruition. It's a farce and the fact that it ever got passed.

Cut to the chase. Microstamping was designed to be a ban on all semi auto pistols.

This. The anti-gunners are very happy with microstamping. Microstamping is just a back-door way of outlawing semi-automatic pistols without implementing an outright ban that could be challenged on 2nd amendment grounds.
