Why would you trade a python? The python is the ultimate defensive/offensive weapon. It's perfect for popping zombie heads like rotten cherry tomatoes and ventilating the governor, all in the same scene!
I would never trade it.

I know. It's just that I never shoot it and I would really like a high end 1911 .45 for CCW. It' been in the safe for 20 years. Maybe 50 rounds throughout it total. I don't have any Son's to hand it down to so I figure I could trade it now for a high end 1911 for CCW and a least get some enjoyment for the money.

If it were mine, I'd unload it in a hartbeat. But then again I'm not into Colt revolvers. I'd much rether have the EB but that said, I'd sell the python for what it's worth and then buy the Brown.
Had a Colt King Cobra, sold it and still don't miss it, get what you want.

Well how much is a new EB KC, I'm guessing around $2800. Gently used $2500 maybe, I get the feeling the guy who wants to trade knows the value of the python. Brown plus some cash would be fair, that way you get the gun you want and the deal is fair.
