CZ's?

I picked up a CZ75b used. It was made in 1996 (Turkish Military Overrun) and it still shoots fantastic.
When I look for a handgun I look at whether or not its used by a military/police force.
-The CZ75 fills this requirement. Its used by 22 military and or police forces around the world. Source https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CZ_75#Users
I also look for if a handgun has been around for a while
- First introduced in 1975
- The CZ75 is one of the original "Wonder Nines"
Can I get my mits around it? (I'm 6'7'" big hands)
-I use the hogue grips and I love how this gun feels in my hands.
Quality Control.
- CZ handguns come with a 5 year warranty when purchased new and use better quality control methods than American companies, because they can afford them. Labor is cheaper in Czechoslovakia.
Material of handgun
-All steel baby. No worries about it blowing up when I send a hot load through it.
Can I get replacement parts?
-Yes and they're not too expensive. A new barrel is about 180. I bought a drop free mag brake for 7 bucks on their website.
That's my two cents, good luck on choosing your new firearm.
-Ben
P.S. this gun is great, the slide rides inside the frame which gives it some improved accuracy. I shoot Nato standard 9mm through mine and have not had any problems with light strikes, (not surprising when its made for military forces).Comment

I think due to being affordable, accurate, steel frame, and still on the roster (some of them).Comment

Love my cz's.
Started with a p01. They multiplied.Originally posted by Jimi JahI punch paper only because it is illegal to punch people.Originally posted by elpaisa1I think flatulence is a more serious crime. I think it should be a misdemeanor with a 1000 dollar fine or 6 months of jail. It should be a felony if done near an open flame.

Because of the roster, CZs are one of the few options for an all steel pistol that isnt a 1911. The only other one is the Browning HP and those are crazy expensive and lack features that come standard on CZ models.
Then there are the aluminum framed guns like Sig and Beretta. And the polymer framed guns like HK, Glock, S&W, and XD.CRPA and NRA member.
Note that those who have repeatedly expressed enough vile and incoherent content as to render your views irrelevant, have been placed on my ignore list. Thank you for helping me improve my experience and direct my attention towards those who are worthy of it. God bless your toxic little souls.Comment

Out of all the CZ variants, I like the SP-01 the best. Very comfortable, soft shooting, easy to be accurate pistol.Comment

I've always leaned toward HK and 1911's, just got my first CZ in January (this year) on a trade. 75B .40 cal, shot it shortly after and was grouping like I couldn't believe at 25 feet. Handed it off to two buddy's that we're shooting with me to try, they did the same. We are all CZ "advocates" now. Still love the HK's and 1911's but CZ's are remarkable. The pricing, the way they're built, accuracy, ergonomics, esthetics, just a *****in gun(s). I now have 4, picked up the CZ 83 in February for my chick, the 97B for me (shoots like a 1911/ no BS) and just got a fully custom SP-01.
Russians know what they're doing when it comes to guns...Last edited by DDH .45; 05-09-2016, 1:59 PM.---------------------------------------------------------------------
