Check the "Keep the Slide Stock" website option and take your discount to your favorite restaurant and buy a porterhouse steak with your saving. That is where the after-markets glock parts salesman goes to eat with your money.

80%, or 10%, Stock Glock unaltered parts, new or used. The money you save using stock unaltered Glock parts saves you enough money now and down the road to buy yourself a good steak.

How many more tens of thousands of stock Glocks have to be manufactured and used reliably before you want to gamble on a proven record?

Dude, you seem to be perseverating on steak houses here. Seriously, did you even read the OP's post? Or did this just trip the right neuron in your head, and you are just stuck in a loop talking about glocks and steaks? Because you know this doesn't make any kind of sense, right? How about you put the keyboard down and go buy yourself a nice steak.

OP, if you can find a Glock slide on eBay of Gunbroker right now, that might be the cheapest way to go. However, literally everybody is looking for exactly the same thing right now, for exactly the same reason you are. They have 80% frames on the way. Most of the aftermarket suppliers are sold out as well right now. IF you can find a slide, OEM or aftermarket, I would grab it. Lone Wolf has some of the more oddball slides in stock at the moment, but most of the standard ones, and the parts kits for the receivers are sold out there and most other dealers.

Here's another look - I'd go on instagram and look up custom/aftermarket Glock slides, contact the owner of said pistol and see if they have the original slide they are willing to sell you. Or maybe the same process on a Glock forum...

              MonkeyBoy,

Yes, I did read and understand the OP. And my advise still stands:
The Op was evaluating options...Glock OEM is an option, yes? So I advised to purchase Glock OEM and take the savings and buy a tasty steak of his choice with the cost savings. Simple. Direct.

So what's the hassle? Are you one of the after-market salesman I alluded to and are offended? Chill.

Apparently you have your finger on pulse of new trend with 80% Glocks. Cool. That is good news. It isn't necessary to rattle my cage to let others know about what's new & improved with the small businesses servicing Glock after-market products.

I'm looking for 34/35 slides. Lone wolf seems to be my best option.

deephouse, I was in tears laughing when I saw the mention of " Tooth and Nail Armory "

Isn't that the outfit with the genius machinist who was commissioned to machine a Glock slide for a Red Dot base and cut the slide down deep into the intestine of the gun and sent it back to the customer as finished work?? And then, kept refusing that they eF-ed up the gun.

I remember "Tooth and Nail Armory" (look for the threads) and "Wheaton" was another shop with that ugly Tacticool Glock (poo colored) that they machined off trigger guard.

What happened to the posted pictures???

OP, Avoid these two shops like you want to avoid plague and cholera.
