Agency Arms, Jagerwerks, Dynamic Weapon Solutions, LandersWeaponSolutions. There are quite a few more as well that I cannot think of.

Glock aftermarket parts are sold at your favorite steak-house.

Check the "Keep the Slide Stock" website option and take your discount to your favorite restaurant and buy a porterhouse steak with your saving. That is where the after-markets glock parts salesman goes to eat with your money.

Making ASSumptions aren't you?? I don't own a Glock. But plan to build one from an 80% as soon as parts to legally do so are available. Since I am building one from scratch, I will need a complete slide and barrel assembly to finish the pistol. Other than buying a stock slide/barrel, I wanted to see what my other options were.

Depends on whether you're looking for ready to go slides or custom work on existing slides. Ready to use slides that I know of are:

              - Glock OEm
              - Zev Tech
              - Primary Weapon Systems
              - Lone Wolf Distributors
              - Unity Tactical

Customized slide work there are quite a few, but you need to supply your own slide.

                  Right.
                  Stock.
                  Glock stock.
                  Glock stock slides.
                  Glock stock slides and barrels.

80%, or 10%, Stock Glock unaltered parts, new or used. The money you save using stock unaltered Glock parts saves you enough money now and down the road to buy yourself a good steak.

How many more tens of thousands of stock Glocks have to be manufactured and used reliably before you want to gamble on a proven record?

I've shot next to many Glock shooters and have witnessed brass hitting their heads every other shot. I don't recall which glock they were shooting, 17 or 19, but that is something I'd definitely like to avoid.

Are you referring to the 80% polymer frame? You can get a complete Glock frame for around $200 but you have to go through all the FFL crap. An aftermarket slide runs around $300 and a good barrel is around $200 too.

Yes that's the one. As with any 80% build, it isn't about saving money. Its about building it yourself with parts you want. And avoiding the FFL is also a huge plus.

I am told that flying brass never happens with Air Soft or Virtual computer game shooting. You know, just to be safe.

You caught me. I will stick to airsoft and gaming. Thanks for your input.... Not sure how useful this thread would be without it.

Why do you want an after market slide?

Brass hitting ones face or forehead is a simple extractor adjustment.

I suggest you shoot and get to know your Glock 17 before making unnecessary modifications.

The only modifications I would make is to add a 3.5# trigger and a magazine but plug...Oh, and night sights.

If you can't shoot the Glock 17 accurately, a new slide won't improve your accuracy
