I just picked up mine at Turners yesterday. Haven't been to the range yet but did remove the magazine safety immediately. Turns out to be a super simple procedure as only "43. Magazine safety spring" needs to be removed, and it's right behind the righthand grip.

In my opinion, it is more Beretta influence than PPK.

I read an article somewhere saying Bersa founders were Beretta ex-employees.

When you look at the safety, trigger mechanism, trigger bar etc... It is very Beretta.

Beretta 70. Now THAT I see. But, really, stylistically it resembles a PPK.

My brother just bought a firestorm after reading really good reviews on it. Seems like a nice little shooter.
