Usually that's when it naturally develops a flashlight on the front end.

So im thinking about putting up my G19 for trade for one plus cash on their end
Na, I figure maybe I'll come out of pocket less....
If you have been around a while you know I will always advocate keeping what you have and buying what you want. There are exceptions to every rule. In your case I would definitely look for a used p220. Look for one that has what looks like a rivet near the Extractor on the slide. New ones have a roll pin there and aren't nearly as nice in my opinion. Not a fan of the short reach trigger (not to be confused with the short reset trigger) either. The old school fat trigger fit me much better.

Ok, yes you always have good input! Honestly this is my 2nd one and don't really like it, shot my bothers USPc 9mm and liked it better. So I bought a new one last week. I might keep don't know I owe my mechanic 1500 or else I'd just pay for a combat. Decisions decisions. .....

Cause Glock halted it's shipments on gen 3 due to the gen 4 in high demand in the free states ...Glock also discontinued the G36 from its line ..

                Anywhere between 200-1000 rounds.
And instantly if OD is applied to the frame.

Just an fyi the second time I said rivet I meant roll pin. Roll pin in the slide is no go for me. Just wanted to clear that up amended my post. As far as the usp is concerned that's a fine weapon I own a few but haven't found anything I like more than my czs and clones. How long have you been shooting your glock? It may grow on you. They're popular for a reason.

There is a perceived shortage of 9mm Glocks, so people are buying them up when they can, causing a shortage.

I was at an LGS just the other day and saw they had a 17 in stock. Felt the little voice in my head tell me to buy it, even though I don't need it at all. Too bad I'm 7 days into my 1 in 30.

For the last 10 years mostly shot glocks, had about 6 at one point. Now I'm just down to the 19 don't get me wrong it's a nice shooting pistol and thats probably why I haven't listed it. Plus it's one of the ones that has the Austrian proofing marks on it. I have a couple of things going on so im about 400 short of buying a used combat.

Don't worry, some people have been wondering about the value of Gaston's tupperware since 1982. You are now part of that club.

                            Waaa!

                            Capitalism is hard!

Seriously though, new buyers are good for our rights. If I have to pay a premium for a pistol because many folks are buying them, I can think of worse problems to have.

                            Especially is this damnable state.
I want to live everyday like this...

Too many people feel like they are missing the boat because they keep hearing how great a Glock is and how every one must have one or more. This sparks a fear of being left out so when people don't see what they want at their local gun store, they go to the marketplace and try to find something there. Most of those sellers know that economics of supply and demand so they ask for a higher price and people pay it.

Or they buy through PPT because they can buy as many guns as they like instead of having to wait 1 in 30 days if they buy new.
