      ^ This. Basically most of the people who have it doesn't want to sell it but many folks still want it. You just don't see it much anymore. I know I will not sell my Cajunized 97B. It shoots just as well as my high end 1911s but at a third of the cost of a high end 1911. It was already very accurate and pleasant to shoot pre-Cajunized.

        The aluminum thin grips are the bees knees!

          They are very nice but I had to switch mine out to the rubber ones so that my small hands can grip the thick frame better.

            The grip is kind of long from front to back. I actually do not like the thin grips. I prefer the thicker Nill Griffe grips on mine.

            If you have ever used a Tactical Sport compared to a 75b, the TS is longer and wider. From memory, the 97b is not as quite as wide as the TS grip, but it for sure longer front to back.

              I haven't used mine. Thanks for reminding me. Time to pull it out of the safe for some workout.

                I have giant hands, so it feels "just right" with the thin grips on there. Comparatively, I'm not a fan of the rubber grips on the 75B. Overall though, I like the way the 97B handles and greatly prefer it over the P220. I don't remember there being too many on-roster, non-1911 metal frame .45ACP pistols being available. Hidden gem status?

                  I kick myself in the rear for not getting the one in my LGS a couple of months back for $679!

                    Here are a few reference pictures..

                    <---- CZ97BD - CZ75 variant ---->

                    Edit: CZ97BD (measurement taken level with the slide at the grips screw):
                    Frame Depth - 2.280, (Rubber grips) Width 1.270, (Aluminum thin grips) Width 1.132

                    Stock TS grip measurements (measurement taken level with the slide at the grips screw):
                    Frame Depth - 2.310, (Factory Wood grips) Width 1.350

                    I found a comparison with the TS dimensions interesting. 81turbota Posted some good pics a few posts down.

                    The thin aluminum grips had to go on my 97. The rubber grips much improved the feel of the pistol and the grips screws stopped falling out every few mags. I found a new G10 grip option for the 97 a little while back, still testing them out.

                          Love my 97B. Got it while the getting was good. On roster, just difficult to find.

                              Yes, they are large for some; as noted, deep front to rear. . . kind of reminds me of the feel of an H&K USP 45. I have average size hands and the 97B is a comfortable fit for me.

                                Hate to be "that guy" but can anyone chime in on how these compare to a Glock 21SF grip or an M&P45 grip thickness wise? I've always wanted a 97b but like everyone else says they're hard to come by.
