    CZ 97B 45ACP still used ? Popular ?

Some few years back I acquired a CZ 97B 45 acp pistola remembering that a few
years past these were quite popular in some circles. I see alot of interest in
the CZ 75 models in 9mm, but no mention of the 97Bs.

Mine is very accurate, more so than my eyes of 72 years. Where did the interest in the bigger guns go? I really like the feel in my hand of this bigger
model pistola. I was many years moving up to 45 acp, this gun made the difference for me.

Most people I know that have shot the 97b and bd really like it. It's not popular here because the on roster one isn't really made any more. They made a special California run and they trickle in from time to time but aren't as available as the other czs. I want one and will get one eventually.

I take mine on almost every range trip.

Like OP said, Feels very good in the hand, even with the original grips. Very accurate, it feels like a bigger 75B. Definitely a keeper for me. I bought it between the Cali runs and I paid premium $$$'s for it but I'm not even upset.

Its a good gun, nothing fantastic, just hard to come by and the asking price when you find one is quite high. The relatively sparse aftermarket part is a negative for me. Reminds me of a Ruger P90 and the Smith & Wesson 4506.

Great gun, just kind of hard to accept a double stack 45 that only holds 10 rounds. If they had made it single stack or 12-13+ capacity it would have made more sense

I would love to have one. OP, if you find yourself ready for something else, look me up.

Nothing like the og blued model without the front slide lines.

I have this one (not the one in the photo) and the newer black version with lines on the front of he slide. Really like both of them.

I love my Cajun Gun Works 97B Copperhead and CZ Customs 97BD Comp Tac. Both are super accurate and easier to shoot than a 1911.

                      as we speak

I am looking for one as we speak. They are not in stock anyplace that my gun stores can find them. But I do have my name on a list to get one when they become available again.

I got mine for a killer deal. Turn that 97B into a SA and I must say...will be better than a 1911.

I just picked up my new 97 BD today. Looking forward to range trip this weekend. Sounds like it will be quite the shooter.
