If you have legitimate, grandfathered normal capacity magazines use them. You should not be in fear of exercising your rights if you're not playing clever little legal games and dancing around the law. These damned lawmakers and their attack dogs in certain law enforcement circles may want to create that kind of atmosphere in this state, but I for one refused to be cowed into hiding when I'm not breaking the law, intentionally or unintentionally.

People leave stuff at the shooting range all the time. I have seen people putting their stuff in someone else's range bag thinking that it is their's and the guy who actually owns the bag goes home with another guy's stuff. Hell, I've put my stuff in my buddy's bag too!

I've seen a RSO chase a guy down because he left two 33rd Glock mags at the bench. Strange things happen.

If Newsome gets his way, possession will be illegal.

even if he had proof that he bought them before the ban, they could still take them if they want to...i see no reason to prove anything to them, they have to prove YOU broke the law

it's a shame the crap this State is getting away with
Yup, the whole nuisance law was contrived because the state knew it would be prohibitively expensive to prosecute most hi-cap cases, so they just figured out a way to steal your legally owned magazines without court intervention.

I think if you keep mag dumps to the desert, you should be ok.
