i would check with the manufacturer and send the slide in for a refurb if the cost was right. Freight on a slide won't be too bad vs an assembled pistol.

Wow, I've never run into that before. Alchemy Customs charges $250 for a complete refinish on a stainless pistol; may be worth the effort to contact Rob and see if he can help you with just your slide. Scratches bother me as well so good luck either way.sigpic
