Damn 2# trigger is pretty insane, especially coming from 1911s. That's a nice piece midvalley, definitely like it more all black rather than dual toned.

Differences between 75B and SAO that stand out to me:

Larger/upswept beaver tail for better grip and no hand biting
      Ambi safety
Mag release can be left or right side
      Flat trigger
      Drop free magazines

for the same cost as a regular 75B (or +~$20) i think its a much better gun. I love the straight trigger on my SA. It's a little gritty out the box but I just need to break it in more. I originally bought the SA as a range toy, to become more familiar with CZ's, and the ambi features appealed to me. I think the SA is a great gun stock and I probably won't upgrade it. I do plan on buying a SP-01 or P-01 and I'll definitely upgrade those. At that point I might turn my SA into a dedicated Kadet.

if you can find+afford a Tactical Sport I might spring for that. They are hard to come by. I think the cost of a TS and a fully cajunized 75/SP-01 are about the same (maybe $100-$200 more for the TS)

Not a picture of my TS but just changing the grips and magwell makes this gun look bad***.

Magwell and grips are from CZ USA and made for the Czechmate.

That does make a huge difference.

It's starting to sound like 75B SA vs. TS is the real decision to be made here. I am left handed so the ambi features would be really helpful to me (what I would do for a left handed mag release on a 1911).

Too bad you can't get a tanfoglio witness Hunter 10mm. Those things are suhweet.

Just picked up a 75B SA about a month ago. It's a great gun out of the box. But I dropped in a CGW legal hammer and SRS-2 kit, did a bit of polishing here and there, man the thing is a dream to shoot.

Only thing I'd change at this point are a trigger with pre-travel adjustment, and one of the SP-01 (extended) mag releases on account of my short thumb(s).

If you can get your hands on a Tanfoglio Witness Elite Match 9mm, that is way better than a CZ 75 SAO and just about as good as the CZ Tactical Sport. Off Roster and will probably sell for $1000-$1200 if it shows up in the Marketplace. In a free state, if you can even find one, will be around $750.

^^^I agree with Litespeeds above. For some reason, I find the EAA Witness Elite Match to be more ergonomic (easier to hold) than a CZ Tactical Sport. The trigger is not as good, though. It has a rail (if that matters) and no full dust cover. Best of all, it is modular - just a slide assembly and a magazine in different caliber (available in 9mm, .40, .45, 10mm) and it's like a new gun. This is where CZ lags in a sense.

That modularity is pretty attractive (did I make that word up?). I'll probably end up starting with a 75B SA, and then go hunting for a Witness or TS when I am ready.

Sigh... 28 days left in my 1 in 30.

The witness is easier to hold because it's a staggered mag instead of true double stack like the tac sport. The tac sport has greater capacity than the witness. Fatter grips are required to accommodate that capacity.

Honestly you can't go wrong with any of them. You start small but don't be surprised when you look and there are a bunch of czs in your safe. I was a Sig guy and went 75b and never looked back. My only gripe about the 75b is the capacity in 40 sucks. If you shoot 9mm though it's tough to beat.

You don't have to wait on the 1-30 days when buying through PPT. You can buy as many as you'd like as often as you'd like but you just have to find those deals.

Instead of the CZ 75 SAO, I would rather spend my money on a CZ SP-01 Copperhead that a guy is selling on the marketplace for $1500. I don't think it's worth $1500 but that model is the Tactical decocker version and has all the Cajun Gun Works modifications and Copperhead treatment done. All it needs is better sights and maybe other grips if you want to make it look fancy. The rubber grips are actually very comfortable.

Once you get a Tactical Sport, Cajun Gun Works or CZ Custom gun or Tanfoglio, you won't be shooting your CZ 75 SAO anymore. Trust me on this.

If you are in NorCal in the SF Bay Area, I would be more than happy to let you shoot all 3 of those guns. Don't tie up your money in a factory CZ, unless it is a Tactical Sport. I have my daughters stock SP-01 and my tricked out CGW SP-01 and it is like night and day.

Not necessarily true I shoot my 75b most of all. But that's what I use at defensive shooting classes. I'll be transitioning to a stock sp01 to save money on ammo.

Of course if you take a defensive shooting class, you will stick with mainly 1 firearm because you want to be proficient in using it. I don't understand how transitioning to a stock SP-01 will save money on ammo

                                Is your 75B a .40 caliber and the SP-01 is a 9mm?
