My First Glock

Purchased my first Glock today! I found a place local to me that had a Glock 19 in stock, which took me by surprise. Initially wasn't looking for another 9mm but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to add a Glock to my collection.

Going to spend the next 10 days looking for ways to customize!

Any suggestions?

Truth....if you dont shoot at least 2 to 3k rounds a year, you are doing it wrong imo

Look up Salient Arms. I put their trigger on mine and love it! Their other upgrades are killer too, but I still can't justify the cost. The trigger though, that's 100% worth it. You will notice a huge difference in your accuracy. They used to be down the street from me here in Oxnard, but they moved to Vegas last April. Still, their trigger is superior to anyone else's. My Glocks get XS sights, a 3.5 lb trigger connector, OEM extended magazine release with the serrations sanded down, and 10-8 Performance base plates for the magazines.

I used to do TALON grips but they are just not durable enough for me, currently looking at stippling options from someone who won't desecrate the frame the way I would/have.

And ammo...buy lots of ammo.

depends on what you are doing with the glock. If it will be used for concealed carry..I don't screw around with anything except to put low light sights on.

The best deal is to send the slide stripped down to Glock for meprolight/glock night sights $57 installed. Go here, print out send in..two weeks later..its back.

Sights, polishing, and a Glock - connector. That's all I would do, and that's all I've done to mine.
