I found this company: http://shop.jsdsupply.com/80-Glock-C...-Kit-00026.htm that sells a complete kit for $460 that is for a Glock 17, 17L or 22. I emailed them to confirm that the kit is a Gen 3, 3 pin complete kit that can just drop in to the lower. They also told me the use genuine Glock parts and it comes with the standard 5.5lb trigger.

    My question is, has anyone ever heard of this company and/or purchased from them? I know they go to gun shows in Costa Mesa, CA; PA; NV; and AZ, but before I buy from an unknown company I would like some feedback before I spend that much money with them.

    Thanks
    I don't see any mention that those are brand-new parts, which might make it worth it for those that absolutely have to have new stuff. For lightly used, you can get a complete parts kit less frame for around $300 - 350.

      I have been trying to figure out a way to legally do this but am getting hung up a few places.

      1) overall length of 10.5"
      2) Bolt action or break top action.

      For the length issue a G17L 6" threaded barrel net 6.56" nets you 9.39". I figure you can do a "permanently" attached compensator to get you over the 10.5" OAL required as long as it didn't have a magazine release installed at the time the threaded barrel would be legal. Unless someone makes a back plate extension to get you over the 10.5" mark. The best option would be if someone could make a bolt lock that replaces that back plate that actually locks the slide, not sure how safe that would be.

      Something like this but that locks the action and protrudes further to the rear to comply with OAL.

      I'm not familiar with the option of going to another state to complete the build and what implications that would have.

        Easiest way I can think of is using something long extended to the bottom of the base pad of the 0 rounds sled. It could be a popsicle stick it'll still extend the length of the pistol then you won't have to get something like the 17L of you don't want to.

            Glock 17 80% Build - Complete Parts Kit

            What about a 33 round mag body, fill to brim with epoxy or sand or whatever and put the follower on top, can the OAL not be that direction?

              There you go that solves OAL. Any ideas on the action?

                Poof. It is a straight-pull bolt action. With a 17L slide, it should come in at just over 10.5", but I will check that for sure once everything arrives. A bolt through the magazine release instead of installing the actual release, and no magazine can be loaded. A single shot, bolt action pistol.

                  Looks promising. Just curious how you stop it from cycling?

                    It has no magazine to strip an extra round from. Cycling isn't an issue. It is simply ejecting the spent round. However, if that is an issue, you can just put an extra power spring in it.

                      That's kinda what I was thinking. You never know what they're going to come up with heavy duty spring sounds like the most viable solution.

                          That would be overall height not overall length. In my opinion you don't want to leave any room for interpretation with the anti 2a courts we have these days.

                          As far as the solution with the stiffer springs that doesn't meet the definition of a bolt or break top action gun.

                          Bolt Action;
                          (of a gun) having a breech that is opened by turning a bolt and sliding it back.

                          Break action;
                          a type of firearm action in which the barrel or barrels are hinged much like a door and rotate perpendicularly to the bore axis to expose the breech and allow loading and unloading of cartridges.

                            The JSD Supply Glock completion kit is comprised entirely of factory fresh Glock parts. It's pricy because it's all brand new.

                              Not being a glock owner, could someone post a picture of a glock 17 frame side by side with a spectre frame? Is there much of a difference between the two?
